Evelyne Saad was born in Belgrad received her first violin lessons at age 4 by her mother. After the university-entrance diploma she studied violin with Prof. Thomas Brandis and later with Prof. Magdalena Rezler in Freiburg im Breisgau.
Since 1997 she is 4th principal of the first violins of the Philharmonisches Orchester der Hansestadt Lübeck. She regularly plays a lot of chamber music and is member of the Martino – Ensemble. In 2002 she won the Furtwänglerpreis of the Theater Lübeck for her intensive chamber music activities.
