On October 27, 2019 at 17:00 invites the Martino ensemble in the quartet cast of Gianmarco Martino (vocals, guitar, chitarra battente), Caroline Metzger (cello, lira calabrese), Steffen Trekel (mandolin) and Susanne Frohriep (accordion) in the Adventhaus Grindelberg in Hamburg (Grindelberg 15, 20144 HH) to a musical journey to the south of Italy. Learn about musical characteristics of different regions from Campania to Sicily through songs from these regions. The songs deal with historical events, legends, refer to the picturesque landscape, to the machinations of the ‘Ndrangheta and the Mafia and of course of love.
